For immediate pain relief
COMPEED corneal patches provide immediate pain relief and pressure relief. At the same time, they protect against water, dirt and bacteria. Hydrocolloid technology keeps skin supple and allows moisture to penetrate deep into the cornea; thus it creates an ideal healing environment for the skin.
Repeated pressure on the skin causes the epidermis to be pressed into cornea. Often there are wounds and cracks in the cornea, which cause pain and an unpleasant feeling.
COMPEED corneal patches provide immediate pain relief and pressure relief and cushion the affected area.
The hydrocolloid technology in the COMPEED corneal patch creates a moist wound healing environment that keeps the skin supple and allows moisture to penetrate deep into the cornea; thus it creates ideal healing conditions for the skin.
The COMPEED corneal patch should be renewed every 48 hours so that dead skin particles that have come loose can be removed. A foot bath and gentle rubbing with a towel are enough to stimulate the shedding of dead skin cells after removing the patch. Subsequently, a fresh patch is applied and the procedure is repeated until the cornea has completely disappeared.
