MacuShield Original Formula is a dietary supplement with 3 carotenoids lutein, meso-zeaxanthin and zeaxanthin in the prescribed LMZ3 composition 10/10/2.
Studies show that the combination of nutrients in LMZ3 works synergistically, resulting in faster absorption and better protection of the back of the eye. Scientific research shows that these three carotenoids are found in the back of the eye, the macula.
The macular pigment filters harmful radiation (light blue light of short wavelength) and protects the retina from damage that contributes to the development of age-related macular degeneration. In addition, it has antioxidant properties against free radicals and aging.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in some fruits and dark green leafy vegetables while meso-zeaxanthin is found in some fish and seafood. MacuShield carotenoids are obtained from the marigold plant (Tagetes Erecta), which is grown specifically for this purpose.
Dosage
1 capsule daily.
Instructions of use
Preferably to be taken after meals.
