Uronyx nail gel is a keratolytic emollient, which is a gentle, yet potent, tissue softener for nails, corns and calluses.
Uronyx is not a medicine.
Uronyx nail gel contains 50% urea in a film-forming solution.
This ensures that, after drying (3-4 min), the active ingredient remains in close contact with the nail for several hours.
Uronyx softens nail, decreases nail thickness and serves as debriding agent.
Uronyx nail gel can also be used with other topical nail treatments ( antifungals, steroids, etc ) to increase the effectiveness of treatment.
Uronyx nail gel is a useful tool in physician’s armamentarium, for the management of onychodystrophies:
1. Shake well before use
2. Apply Uronyx to affected nail tissue twice per day, or as directed by a physician
3. Let dry uncovered or apply and cover with adhesive bandage
4. Following application avoid washing the treated area for 6-8 hours
For preventive purposes only it should not be administrated to children under 3 years old.
