KetoCal 4:1 is a very high-fat, low-carbohydrate, fully balanced special food in powder form with milk protein (casein and whey), enriched with amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as dietary fibre. The ketogenic ratio of fat to carbohydrates and protein is 4:1. Contains the long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (AA).
Application
For a better tolerance of the very high-fat food, it may be necessary to start the introduction of the ketogenic diet with a less concentrated food or a smaller amount of food. Make sure you drink enough fluids.
The total daily amount depends on the patient's age, body weight and individual metabolic situation. It is adapted to the current metabolic situation under regular medical supervision.
Standard
Recommended standard resolution: 14.2 g powder + 86 ml drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink ketogenic food (1.0 kcal/ml).
Depending on individual requirements, a higher or lower concentrated diet may be given under medical supervision. Mix the following amounts to achieve the recommended resolution:
- 9.5 g powder + 91 ml drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink ketogenic food (0.67 kcal/ml)
- 11.4 g powder + 89 ml drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink ketogenic food (0.8 kcal/ml)
- 14.2 g powder + 86 ml drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink ketogenic food (1.0 kcal/ml)
- 21.3 g powder + 79 ml drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink ketogenic food (1.5 kcal/ml)
