Each tablet contains a 400mg extract, equivalent to 1600mg of valerian. Practitioners frequently recommend taking valerian one hour before bedtime. New legislation came into force in April 2011 that requires many herbal products to be registered as Traditional Herbal Medicines. Lamberts® is committed to registering all our important herbs as Traditional Herbal Remedies (THR's), and this lengthy and complex process is well underway.
In the meantime we can continue to sell through the stocks of those herbs that are classified under Section12/2 of the Medicines Act, including this product, to consumers as long as it is for their own personal use. Only 2 pots per order are permitted.
